This option ensures that the data of each application of your workspace (XML manifest, scripts, icon, etc.) is stored individually in a subfolder (.packit) next to the package. This is our recommended approach as it eliminates workspace merge conflicts and makes application data portable and sharable between team members or parsed by external tools.
